ORIGINAL TITLE INSURANCE RATE
FOR OWNER'S OR LEASEHOLD POLICIES
An owners policy insuring fee simple
estate, will not be issued for less than the full value
of the insured's interest in the land. An owner's policy,
insuring a leasehold estate, will not be issued for
less than the aggregate value of the rentals payable
under the primary term of the lease, in connection with
which policy is requested, or the full value of the
land, whichever is less.
The rate for original owner's or leasehold
insurance is:
Per Thousand or any fraction thereof:
Up to $150,000 of liability written $ 5.75/$1,000
Over $150,000 and up to $250,000 add $ 4.50/$1,000
Over $250,000 and up to $500,000 add $ 3.50/$1,000
Over $500,000 and up to $10,000,000 add $ 2.75/$1,000
Over $10,000,000 add $ 2.25/$1,000
Minimum Charge $175.00
Reissue rates available upon request
(30% discount on original policy if less than 10 years
old)
*Please note Conveyance Fees differ by county: Franklin
County and Fairfield County charge $2 for each $1,000
plus 50 cents for recording, while Delaware County charges
$3 for each $1,000 plus 50 cents for recording. Our
office can provide you with the county conveyance fees
for all other counties in Ohio.
